Steve Yang

We LOVE spring! I have been a (almost native) Houstonian since my family immigrated here from Taiwan in 1980. I now live in Richmond but grew up in Kingwood and graduated from Kingwood HS. I went on and received my degree from The University of Texas in Austin, with a degree in Economics (BA 1990). While at UT Austin, I was a founding member of Lambda Phi Epsilon, the first Asian fraternity in the state of Texas. I bleed burnt orange as I am a diehard UT fan. I love all Houston major sports franchises and attend games every year. I am married to my wife Vicki, and she is definitely the "Yin" to my "Yang", as we work as a team at Steve Yang State Farm. Our son is a Shih-tzu named Max, and he comes to work with us every day. We enjoy outdoor activities, such as golf, hiking, and biking, but traveling (especially road trips) and eating exciting food from different cultures remain our passion!

Professionally, I have been in the world of insurance and financial services industry since 1998. In 2013, I opened my State Farm agency. Today, our Mission Statement is "We Solve Your Problems and Protect Your Assets." This statement holds true and will always be my mission as we serve our customers and provide quality auto insurance, home insurance, renters insurance, business insurance, and life insurance. Having been in the industry since 1998, I cherish all the relationships I have built, as people come to me for guidance relating to their families' financial well-being. Oftentimes, purchasing insurance is not about buying at the lowest price, but getting the right insurance to protect your family and your assets. We offer auto insurance for all drivers in your household, young and old; home and commercial insurance covering most of Texas, and life insurance to protect incomes!

We have earned quite a few honors from State Farm since our doors opened in 2013. However, trophies and accolades do not mean anything unless our office is consistently exceeding our customers' service expectations and satisfying every customer's needs when they need us the most during claim time. Every member of my team understands this is my passion and each possess the same belief!

Our areas of service include Fort Bend County (Sugar Land, Richmond, Katy, Fulshear, Missouri City, Stafford, Rosenberg), and the greater Houston and Harris County area.
